For hundreds of years, many of the classical methods of manual penis enlargement exercises were lost.
This led scores of men to assume there was no viable means of enlarging the penis. Scores of magazines that promoted numerous topics related to men’s health and fitness issues essentially stated that there was no method or strategy that could help in increasing penis size.
This would all change in the 1990s when the revolutionary concept of penis enhancement surgery emerged on the landscape. The magazines accepted advertisements for this surgery in abundance.
Of course, the advertisements heralded the notion the surgery was the perfect way to enlarge the penis. Actually, it promoted the notion it was the only way to achieve enlargement.
Since the topic of penis enlargement was so salacious, many of the television talk shows would interview surgeons performing it. For a time, it was believed that this was the greatest cosmetic procedure to emerge in decades.
Bad About Penis Enhancement Surgery News Arrives
The problem with this surgery is twofold: it can be extremely risky and it might not work. One of the more sobering facts about this surgery would be the major board of urologists did not sanction the surgery.
That alone should make men worried about undergoing the surgery. This is doubly true when a mix of penis pills and manual exercises might deliver significant results.
How The Surgery Works
There are two major procedures performed when undergoing male enhancement surgery. A patient can have one or both of the surgical procedures performed. One procedure would center on lengthening the penis and the other will deal with increasing the girth of it.
The way the penis lengthening procedure works revolves around drawing out the portion of the penis that is inside the body and connected to the pubic bone. This part of the penis is attached to the pubic bone.
In the lengthening procedure, the ligaments that connect the penis to the pubic bone is literally severed. The hope (and it is a hope and not a guarantee) is that the inside portion of the penis will emerge and lead to 1 to 2 inches in length increases occurring.
The girth increasing component of the surgery entails suctioning fat from one part of the body and injecting it into the shaft of the penis. With all this excess fat injected into the shaft, the shaft will become much thicker.
The Problems With The Surgery
There are quite a number of common problems associated with this surgery. The first would be that the fat injected into the penis will likely dissolve over time. The penis is not designed to store fat. So, when fat is injected into it, it will likely dissolve.
The lengthening penis enhancement surgery procedure will automatically prevent the penis from pointing upwards because the ligaments have been severed. There will also be a need for the severed section of the penis to heal and when this occurs, the penis could very well be pulled back into the penis.
This can lead it to becoming smaller which would be a disastrous outcome for many men.
There could also be a lot of disfiguring scaring on the penis that could occur when the penis begins to heal. In fact, the penis may never totally heal from the complications of the surgery. Case in point, a man that goes through this surgery might end up dealing with the problem of impotence.
This is to say nothing of the psychological problems that can emerge when all these complications arise after a surgery.
The Cost Of The Surgery
The cost of the surgery might actually shock many men when they look at the advertisements noting how valuable the surgery is. The cost can run upwards of $10,000 or more. This is a massive cost that comes on top of the risks and dangers associated with the surgery.
For most men, once the costs are weighed against the risks associated with the surgery, it becomes obvious that this might not be the right strategy to employ when hoping to make the penis larger.
The question that emerges here would be what can be done to actually enlarge the size of the penis.
